His practice focuses on catastrophic injury: orthopaedic polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, fatal and life-shortening injuries, accommodation claims, vulnerable road users, and complex issues of causation and quantum. He is frequently instructed as sole junior in multi-million-pound claims involving capacity, deputyship, care, prosthetics, assistive technology and provisional damages, and generally accepts instructions only in High Court cases valued at £250,000 or above.

He is ranked as a leading junior in the independent legal directories on the strength of his clients’ feedback, where he is recognised for his “resourceful and highly adaptable” advocacy and “excellent advice on strategy” in catastrophic injury claims. He is described as “user friendly and approachable”, providing “a high standard of technical advice” and combining “great client care skills with tactical nous”. He delivers seminars to specialist audiences of claimant and defendant lawyers, insurers, experts and healthcare professionals, and most recently spoke at the Brain Injury Group’s Adult Brain Injury Seminar.
