Adam is a specialist Business and Property barrister. In the main he is involved in high value and complex cases, with emphasis on difficult real estate and agricultural matters.

He is recognised in the legal directories as one of the leading juniors in the southwest of England. Over the years Adam has been described as “very intellectually strong”, “extremely personable” and as “one of the best advocates around”.

Lastly, Adam has lectured and written extensively in his areas of expertise, and maintains a keen academic interest in the development of the law in key parts of his practice. Most notably, proprietary estoppel, in relation to which he has been involved in complex, hard-fought and high value cases throughout his career since acting in the landmark case of Davies v Davies in the mid 2010s.
